Irish migrant James Quigley born on a ship voyage from England to New York in 1859. When life became unbearable with the gangs in New York, his family moves to Texas. On the trip his father dies leaving his mother to carry on in Texas. When James becomes a young man he wanted more in life. Him and his mother move to New Mexico to work in the gold fields. When he turned twenty seven he was killed in a shoot out in Cow Springs NM, leaving three young sons. From there we follow the life of the three sons and their mother Mary when she remarries and they move to Oregon. A true story.
