Dr. Sanjana Nemade completed her undergraduate education from B.J. Medical College, Pune and postgraduate education from Topiwala National Medical College, and BYL Nair hospital, Mumbai. She has achieved the “Mumbai University award” for being topper in the postgraduate examination. At present, she is working as professor, ENT at SKN Medical college and general hospital, Pune. With 18 years of teaching experience, she has been doing all ENT and Head Neck surgeries with special interest in endoscopic and bronchoscopic surgeries. Performing intense qualitative work in research, she has been qualified with “Advanced diploma in clinical research”. She has published more than 15 peer reviewed articles in international Pubmed indexed journals, more than 20 articles in national Pubmed indexed journals and has authored 2 books.

Dr. Kiran Shinde completed his undergraduate and postgraduate education from B.J. Medical College, Pune. He is an outstanding talent in the field of otorhinolaryngology with 38 years of huge teaching experience. He has trained many undergraduate and postgraduate students in his career. Along with ENT and Head Neck surgeries, he is an expert Excellency in bronchoscopic foreign body removal. He is always been an inspiring and motivating guide for research in the department as well as in the institute. This book provides the description of the granulomatous diseases of otorhinolaryngology, head and neck with their characteristic features, investigations and management. It includes wide variety of infective, idiopathic, neoplastic, hereditary, reactive and various other types of chronic granulomatous reaction in the ear, nose, throat and head neck region. Further, the description is supported with various illustrations including clinical photographs, radiological pictures of CT scan, MRI scan etc. Histopathological and microbiological images which show characteristics and differentiating features are also included to aid in the diagnosis of the diseases. Histopathological colored images with high magnification and immunohistochemistry images are provided for better illustrations. This book also elaborates the important medical and surgical management of the granulomatous diseases.
