An avid problem solver and inventor, he developed and built contemporary harpsichords, then introduced an electronic harpsichord in the pre-synthesizer age. Ultimately, he discovered that he was, at his best, an entrepreneur. His New England-based one-man business drew on a cadre of highly-skilled colleagues, "guild"-style. Through this work, Warner and his peers tackled a series of engineering and technological projects in the medical and applied acoustics fields. Throughout it all, this husband and father also found time to be a musician, sailor and active community member.
