Building strong and lasting relationships with neighbouring countries is one of the key principles of Belarus' foreign policy. This aspect has been developed in the form of the 'belt of good neighbourliness' concept. This format of cooperation brings together four states: Belarus, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania, whose interaction is analysed in greater depth and detail in the study. Within the framework of good-neighbourly relations, the Republic of Belarus is intensively developing pragmatic cooperation with the Republic of Lithuania in various areas, which is in line with the foreign policy objectives of both sides. The media plays a key role in establishing productive dialogue between the countries, as it can serve as a tool for building trust. The degree of implementation of the information aspect of the concept of the 'belt of good neighbourliness' between Belarus and Lithuania through an analysis of the functioning of the Belarusian and Lithuanian media is reflected in the proposed study. The work was carried out under the supervision of Boris Leonidovich Zaleski, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Journalism and Literature at the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University.
