As Oprah says on OprahDaily, "If you read it, you can be it. This book features 100 stories of barrier-breaking activists, artists, inventors, entrepreneurs, and other impressive young women under the age of 30-like Greta Thunberg, Bindi Irwin, Keke Palmer, and more."

"Rebel Girls of all ages will love this new volume of Good Night Stories honoring the next generation of phenomenal women." - Meena Harris, founder and CEO of Phenomenal Media

"I have always wanted my daughters to think outside the box. Reading Rebel Girls' books has taught them to do just that. By seeing examples of women and girls who stand up for what they believe in, it gives them behavior to model and ideas for their own future." - Kristen Bell, actor and author

"An inspiring and page-turning book that shows your little one that anything is possible" - SheKnows

"Inclusive and inspirational." - Kirkus Reviews

"This book is a compilation of the stories of some of the most inspiring young women around...to inspire an up-and-coming generation of girls poised to blaze trails of their own." - Yahoo! Life

"The now classic children's book is inspiring no matter your kid's gender, and this Changemakers edition gives them a host of under-30 role models...that they can learn about and emulate as they grow up." - CNN Underscored

"Every story in the book encourages young women to dream big and not let their past, or any setbacks, hold them back... [it] has the potential to be a truly life changing book for young readers" - Education and Training Magazine

"Rebel Girls is a pioneer in not only inspiring future changemakers, but communicating that being active is a result of believing in each other's determination and bravery." - Xiye Bastida, climate activist

"Reading the stories of so many young changemakers in this book has deeply inspired me and I know it will do the same for everyone who reads their stories... Rebel Girls reaches beyond the books, they are a movement, motivating youth to create positive change on the planet." - Bindi Irwin

Rebel Girls is a global, multi-platform empowerment brand dedicated to helping raise the most inspired and confident global generation of girls through content, experiences, products, and community. Originating from an international best-selling children's book, Rebel Girls amplifies stories of real-life, extraordinary women throughout history, geography, and field of excellence. With a growing community of nearly 20 million self-identified Rebel Girls spanning more than 100 countries, the brand engages with Generation Alpha through its book series, award-winning podcast, events and merchandise. In 2021, Rebel Girls launched the Dream On app to re-imagine sleep routines by sharing empowering stories with a screen-free audio experience; and inspired girls everywhere to Celebrate Black Girl Magic with a new book, merchandise and events. To date, they have sold 7 million books in 51 languages and reached 14 million podcast downloads. Jess Harriton is an editor at Rebel Girls working on stories to delight and inspire girls 7-12. Previously, she was an editor at Penguin Random House where she worked with bestselling and award-winning authors like Jessica Goodman, Tochi Onyebuchi, Jennifer Yen, and Hannah Reynolds. Her writing has appeared in Concrete Literary Magazine and HelloGiggles.com. Jess graduated from Emerson College in 2013. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY in an apartment filled with books.
Maithy Vu is a Vietnamese American writer who loves surrealism and most things odd. While earning her B.A. in Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she spent time writing poetry, plays, and slightly bizarre sketches for an all-women comedy team. Maithy published her novella, Wounded Wisteria, in 2015, combining fiction in verse with her own watercolor illustrations. She went on to earn her M.L.A. in Creative Writing & Literature at Harvard Extension School where she completed her first novel Squid Season. In early 2019, Maithy joined the editorial team at Rebel Girls. Since then, her colleagues have been given compulsory lectures about Taylor Swift on a weekly basis.
