The Prime purpose of this book is to present the basic principles of geomorphology. A short glance is presented on the geology of a tectonic valley, named Dang Valley, of the Mid-Western Nepal. The basic concept to formulate the origin of the tectonic valley is also presented in the book. These tasks are carried out through the analysis of different drainage parameters. The parameters are discussed in brief and values are obtained using the Geographical Information System (GIS) software called Integrated Land and Water Information System (ILWIS).
