Indeed the contribution of this work lies in the concurrent analysis and classification, by the means of a literature review, of the results and critical implementation factors of the six systems. Deming s Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) has been used to classify the findings from the literature review."

Andrea Chiarini is Managing Director at Chiarini & Associates, a European consulting firm specialized in Lean Six Sigma and Visiting Professor at University of Ferrara, Italy.
He earned a PhD and a Master of Arts from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He also earned a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering and a Diploma in Business Administration from Bologna University, Italy.
He is a Senior Member of American Society for Quality.
