A Huck Finn sort of tale of the young life of Merk in the beautiful quaint ocean village of Mendocino in California in the 1940s. Hunting, fishing, living off the land, clamming, cascara bark peeling, and sundry carefree youth growing up experiences occur in town, on the beach, ocean cliff rocks, and river estuary. Youth escapades eventually produce a very close encounter with a young siren, Bobbie. When Merk has to leave town she dumps him for his best high school friend which causes severe psychological pain. In the debt of anguish Merk turns to Jesus. Now as an old man after a life of scientific research and reflecting on life's vicissitudes Merk (Moria MacMegan) discovers deep fundamental meanings of life. Human sexual encounters have a spiritual dimension. So all of human life is the result of four convoluted encompassed functional realms with interacting relationships - that of body, soul, spirit, and heart, which Moria calls Four Eigens. Extensive proof of Eigen Theory is given. He develops the Eigen concept, which he maintains is more important than any scientific discovery, develops basic principles of living life, and develops wisdom as to how to live life as a Child of God. Moria loves God deeply, and writes how one is to beautifully live life with the Lord Jesus Christ within the Christian Community. He deals with the physics of universe creation and man's origin and termination within it. Moria MacMegan is the nom de plume of an old man, a Physicist, who was once a very successful Research Scientist, and then a Futures Trading Speculator, a legend in his own time.
