The forest is an ecosystem, that is to say a biocenosis (a group of populations living at a specific time in a given place) evolve in a biotope (the substrate and ecological conditions). Between these two components of the ecosystem, there are interactions, ecology forestry therefore sets itself the objective of studying these existing interactions between the forest vegetation on the one hand and environmental conditions (climate, fauna, soil, etc.) on the other hand.We will study the main ecological factors of the environment influencing the life of the tree and these are: climatic factors, topographical factors, factors edaphic and biotic factors.
