The book explores the transformation of innovation systems in the EU as a whole and some individual countries, and outlines ways to form the innovation system of Georgia, improve the system of tools for state and business coordination of innovation development. The issues of national, regional and supranational (EU level) coordination of regional innovation policy are considered mainly in the EU countries. The current state of innovation system of Georgia is investigated and the priority directions of its formation in the context of main blocks of that system are presented and justified systematically.
