The work presented in this book is based on Mindlin plate theory along with von Karman's nonlinear strain displacement relations. Newton-Raphson method is employed to solve nonlinear equations. The formulation is developed in polar co-ordinates. Hence, it is easy and convenient to impose boundary conditions at nodes on curved and oblique boundaries. Two computer programs are developed for the linear and non-linear analysis of moderately thick annular sector plate based on developed formulations. Various numerical are being solved with clamped and simply supported boundary conditions. The results are presented in suitable format and compared with available literature. It is felt that the work presented in this book will be a good contribution in field of structural engineering.
