GEOFFREY WOODHALL is a member of CIPFA (The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy) and a chartered accountant. He has taught in the University of Central Lancashire for 22 years, mainly to professional managers and degree students.

MATTHEW CRIPPS is a member of CIPFA and Deputy Director of Finance at Central Manchester Primary Care Trust. Previous to this he was the Director of Finance at Chingford, Wanstead and Woodford NHS Primary Care Trust in Essex.

ALAN STUTTARD is a member of CIPFA and has been the Finance Director of the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He is now the Chief Executive of the NHS Pensions Agency.
