Felting is the process of making felt, a textile that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. Felt can be made of natural fibers such as wool or synthetic fibers. These workshops primarily use wet felting techniques, with the exception of a few details that are crafted by dry felting. The less experienced crafters will love these intermediate level crafts. It is not difficult to complete the projects in this book. Mastering the felting techniques is quite easy. For wet felting you will need wool, a soapy solution, polyethelyne foam, and a rolling pin. To create parts using the elements of dry felting, you will also need a thin needle and a foam rubber sponge.
