We live our lives day after day with a multitude of different thoughts traveling through our minds. We daydream about the future, or about this silliness or that. We replay and replay again a conversation or situation that took place a few minutes earlier. It can even be from days, weeks, or even years earlier. The truth is we are more like the fictional Walter Mitty than the one we call Lord and Savior. We are told by the Lord Jesus to love God with all our minds, but we almost constantly entertain whatever happens to be playing on the cinema of our minds. Oh, we generally put out the filthy stuff, and the evil thoughts are put out too, but what about the rest? Paul said to take every thought captive, and we are nowhere near doing this. I will present the case that we need to have prayer lives that are filled to overflowing with praise and worship of our great God, rather than overflowing with requests. I call this Fellowship Prayer. We then need to continue the worship as we go into and through our daily lives. I call this Fellowship Living. This combination will indeed produce the abundant life that Jesus came to give. It won't just produce it, it is the abundant life
