What can one say about Wely's music - harmonic, tuneful, falls lightly on the ear. David Sanger's edition is superb - well set out and including French registration suggestions. I strongly recommend the works.

David Sanger (1947-2010) studied organ at the Royal Academy of Music. For 20 years he was organist and choirmaster at St Laurence Church in Catford. He won the St Albans and Kiel international organ competitions, and these successes launchaed d a busy recital career both in the UK and across Europe and the United States. David Sanger taught at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music, Birmingham Conservatoire, and the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He made many acclaimed recordings and was president of the Royal College of Organists.
