The goal of this book is to inform people of outstanding fatherhood and to persuade them to be more involved in their children's lives. It includes biographies of famous (and notorious) fathers, analysis of fiction books and movies dedicated to the topic of fatherhood, some interesting facts and regulations on the topic, the author's and her father's story, the stories from people all over the world about their fathers, three research articles written by the author, concluded by some tips for future and acting fathers. The author will do her best to try to motivate fathers to be closer to their children, not simply to spend time with / on them, but also to contribute to their children's care, warmth, strength, moral support, life knowledge, and the desire to learn. She will try to change - at least a bit - the society view on fatherhood in (as it is so fashionable to say nowadays) the 21st century.

Natela Doghonadze is a Professor, Doctor of Education Sciences at International Black Sea University, School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. She supervised 42 defended doctoral dissertations. She has published about 300 papers and 7 books. Her fields are Education, Educational Psychology and Sociology, English Language Teaching.
