Siri ends up on a quest and must make choices and decisions along the way. On one level, her choice could simply determine the next turn in the quest to help those she's trying to save. However, on another level, her choice is all about her. Does she choose to honor and support her own strength and power, and independence, or does she give her power away? The action is amazing, as is the folklore background. Logan's descriptive wordplay is impressive, painting the scene for us like a canvas. There were literally spots I wanted to stop and enter the book, they sounded so lovely."
