It would be inaccurate to say that every single one of these deaths could have been prevented if better safety practices would have been in place, it is completely accurate to say that more than half of the children that die as a result of farm accidents are avoidable. Likewise, accidents can happen even when stringent safety measures are in place, but a significant number of them could be eliminated with a few more lessons and rules in farm safety.
