A ternary / binary nanocomposites structured material presents enormous promises and opportunities for a new generation of materials with improved and tailorable properties for the photocatalytic application to remove organic and inorganic dyes in aqueous medium. The GO nanocomposites were successfully synthesis through a hydrothermal technique. The synthesized GO nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, UV-Vis, FTIR, Raman Spectroscopy and FESEM analysis. The GO and its binary / ternary nanocomposites were used for the removal of heavy metal ionic dyes in waste water, which were examined by visible sunlight. Photocatalytic degradation of GO nanocomposites degrades the various dyes by higher absorption and the spectral changes were monitored. The absorption process is followed with a time interval of 30 mins and the degradation of MB dye before and after was studied under UV-Visible spectroscopy. The GO nanocomposite is able to photocatalyst the complete oxidative mineralization of MB by O2 and they show excellent result in degradation of organic dyes under the sunlight.
