William Gueraiche William Guéraiche is an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) and teaches International Security. He is the director of the Master’s of International Relations. His research examines the UAE's foreign policy, diplomacy and international cooperation. Kristian Alexander Dr Kristian Alexander is a Senior Researcher at the Strategic Studies Department at Trends Research & Advisory (Think Tank), Abu Dhabi, UAE and an advisor at Gulf State Analytics (GSA), a Washington based geopolitical risk consultancy. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi UAE. His research examines the significance of social movements in the Middle East and security related issues, especially pertaining to migration in the GCC. He has published in a number of journals and contributed book chapters to edited volumes.
