In the past, thousands of large books have been bound in one volume but this is not always possible anymore, as technology takes us ever backward in time.

This book was not intended to be a comprehensive study of evil, but only sketch out some of the central issues in the benchmark period in history in which we live. Benchmark because I feel that America and the world is in great danger of social and political disintegration. World-wide population expansion, the drain on resources and finance, and the rise of radical groups and violence may very well see the end of us. I see the possibility of another Adolph Hitler and the world again falling into authoritarianism, war and chaos. The rise of militant Islamists and radical militias in the U.S. acts as lighting rods for terrorists, and quite a few Americans are joining terrorist training camps in the Middle East and Africa. The decline of the West and perhaps "civilization" as we know it is in sight. Great hatred is being created anew in our own country and in the world. Irrational hatred and fear has always been the cause of massive trouble in the world at times of economic depression, dislocation and unemployment. These are the conditions that gave birth to Hitler and the rise of fascist dictatorships and the loss of political and social rights - while their people and conquests become totalitarian nations of slaves as Hitler's Germany had been.
