There are great potentials of congestion pricing strategies in reducing traffic jams and improving system efficiency due to its ability to promote the efficient use of existing infrastructure. The methodology developed in this book, although being originated for congestion pricing message signage and sign sequence design, can however be easily applied to other types of sign tests with more complicated vehicle operation schemes.
