Brain tumors are of major concern because of its increasing incidence, difficulty in treatment due to inaccessible site of occurrence and high rate of recurrence.There is always some short of confusion in detecting residual or recurrence tumor in the midst of radiation necrosis and other post treatment changes.Conventional imaging modalities are not optimal to address this issue. This work tried to address the strength and limitations of different modalities.
