The present book contains not only the original study but also all national reports in English. It provides a comparative analysis of different European military law systems on the basis of national reports.

The editor is a Professor of Law at the University of Munich. He holds a chair for German and Comparative Public Law, Public International Law and European Law. He is Member of the International Law Commission (ILC) of the United Nations.
