Michael Magcamit is a Lecturer in Security Studies in the School of History, Politics, and International Relations at the University of Leicester. Prior to joining Leicester, he was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at Queen Mary University of London and where he is also currently a Visiting Research Fellow. Before moving to the United Kingdom, he was an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Musashi University in Tokyo, Japan on a joint program between the University of London (LSE) and Musashi. His works on international security issues have appeared in prominent outlets in Political Science and International Relations.
