The design of a built environment has an important perspective to play in providing infrastructure especially that can prevent crime and also that creates a sense of safety and comfort within communities, hence, the provision of recreational facilities. Therefore, the need for synergy between different stakeholders, private and public providers of services in the move to initiate the plan and manage the recreational facilities. The strategy that would be effective and efficient in operation as well as providing services that will enhance the life of the people being the stakeholders focus. This research tends to improve the role of stakeholders, as expected among other tasks.

Peter Musa Wash is a PhD holder in the field of Social Development Planning, from the School of Housing, Building and Planning, University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. He obtained his bachelor degree from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, majoring in Urban and Regional Planning.
