He also has a degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina, where he was born. He has over 25 years of teaching experience, and is a past recipient of the Award for Excellence from the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. His research interests include cross-cultural communication, teaching in a technology-enhanced environment, and language for specific purposes."
