I think this is an excellent part of the suite of textbooks for trusts law. It has a good combination of texts, cases and materials, and I think this is one of the more accessible textbooks on the subject.
Paul S. Davies is Professor of Commercial Law at UCL, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Paul was previously an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Oxford, and Fellow and Tutor in Law at St Catherine's College, Oxford. In 2018 his book Accessory Liability (Hart Studies in Private Law: Hart Publishing, 2015) won the main Inner Temple Book Prize. Paul is also a Barrister of Lincoln's Inn and an Associate Member of Maitland
Chambers.
Graham Virgo (QC (Hon)) is Professor of English Private Law and Senior Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) at the University of Cambridge; a Fellow of Downing College, Cambridge and a Bencher of Lincoln's Inn. He is the author of several books on private law, as well as equity and trusts, including The Principles of Equity & Trusts (Oxford University Press) and The Principles of the Law of Restitution (Oxford University Press). In 2013 he was shortlisted for the OUP Law
Teacher of the Year. He is also a barrister and door tenant at 24 Old Buildings, Lincoln's Inn.
