The aim of this study is to propose a methodology that uses environmental perception and determines an environmental efficiency index through landscape analysis,with a focus on the protected environments of the Jundiaí-Mirim river basin, represented by its forest fragments,in order to generate subsidies for drawing up an environmental management plan to promote improvements in the territory's environmental quality.

He has a degree in Environmental Management Technology from the Padre Anchieta University, a master's degree and a doctorate in Environmental Sciences from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (ICTS/Unesp). He has experience in river basin planning and also in developing environmental management models for rural properties.
