As unemployment and poverty are big problems in developing countries like India, entrepreneurship seems to be the major tool to solve these problems and lead to the economic upliftment and increase in standards of living of people. In the current study entrepreneurial career aspirations of students of professional courses in Punjab was studied.The findings of the study are interesting in the context of entrepreneurial career aspirations of students of Punjab and should lead universities and educational institutions to investigate on the practical aspects needed to fulfill the student's aspirations and thus ensure more entrepreneurial career is promoted.

Tanveer Kaur was born and raised in the Patiala, India. She studied in Govt Bikram College Of Commerce where she successfully completed the degrees of B.Com. and M.Com. As a scholar she continued for PhD degree, in Punjabi University, Patiala. Her Dissertation was successfully defended in Oct 2017 and she is presently working as assistant professor
