Dr Akintunde obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin Ireland, where he now works specializing in novel pollution control technologies including engineered wetlands.He has authored over 30 papers and he is an associate editor for Water Science and Technology and African Journal of Environmental science and Technology.
