With high-tech in the signal processing and communication technology wireless sensor network have born as promising tool to apply in daily life. The main issue in wireless sensor network are bit error rate, fixed bandwidth, fading that occur in the wireless channel, and effect of noise, but the biggest challenge is energy consumption because a sensor node is operated with fixed battery and many time these batteries are non rechargeable.it has been shown that using MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) many problem related to wireless channel can be solved easily and efficiently but implementation of this technique has certain difficulties, because a sensor mote is tiny and it is very difficult for it to allocate more than one antenna so we have suggest a new data transmission technique using MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system we have developed a protocol to make the cooperation between various nodes of a same cluster by which we have achieved spatial diversity in the sensor network and results it has been shown that if the number of cooperative node in the sensor network is increases then the per node energy consumption reduces rapidly.
