The youth tend to start financial planning at a stage later than they considered ideal. The majority of the students and the numerous graduates who start earning by the time they are in their twenties do not know how the market works and are hence unaware of the investment options available to them. Financial education need not be imparted only through schools and colleges. Banks, investors, social service organizations, the community and society should be urged to come forward and contribute in imparting education.
