The aim of this study is to determine the role of different organic manures viz. raw cattle dung, poultry waste and vermicompost on the growth of Vallisneria spiralis in the container. Soil and water nutrients were highest in the poultry manured treatment. It was concluded that the application of cattle manure at the rate of 2 g per 100 g capacity pot in 50% shadow conditions increases biomass, total length, number of leaf and runners of V. spiralis.
