This research is to study the effect of using different supplementary cementitious materials in binary and quaternary blends on behavior of high performance concrete. The experimental work includes four stages: firstly, preparation of cementitious materials (metakaolin and pumice) for using as a partial replacement of cement, second stage involves conducting several trial mixes to choose the best proportion of superplasticizer that satisfies the optimum water content and the best compressive strength. The third stage includes finding the optimum percentage of silica fume, MK, and pumice as partial replacement of cement at(8%, 10%, 15%), (10%, 15%, 20%), and(10%, 15%, 20%),respectively for test of the mechanical properties. Fourthly carrying out to produce quaternary HPC which includes combinations of optimum percentage replacement of SF, MK, and PU, which give the best result. Moreover, the properties of HPC [mechanical properties also study the dynamic properties, and ultrasonic pulse velocity]are studied. The investigation also include study on rapid chloride ion penetration, initial surface absorption, permeability and length change were measured at various ages up to 180 days.
