The aim of this study was to see the Effect of School Culture on the moral Development of the Children. Population of the study were all public and private secondary and higher secondary schools from District Lahore. Sample was consisted of 30 schools randomly selected from the population and the data were collected from 30 students and 10 teachers from each school randomly. The research was a causal comparative ex post facto study by method. The type of school culture was determined through "School Culture Scale", by Khanam (2013). The scale could identify four types of culture as; Autocratic, Laissez fare, Democratic and Collegial. The moral development of the students of respected schools were identified through MDII (Moral Development Interview Inventory) by Khanam (2010).The results showed that the moral development in Autocratic and Collegial culture was high enough to the fourth stage where student protect laws and rules without claiming their theoretical basis and were responsible for school ethics and values. On the other hand in Democratic and Lassiez fair cultures, they acquired comparatively lower stages.
