This research compared the effects of different organic manures on zooplankton production in indoor culture systems. The manures used were Poultry droppings, Cow dung, Cassava peels and a Control. The manures were added into the culture systems at the rate of 57mg/l and the experiment ran for twelve weeks. Identification and counting of species of zooplankton in each sample was done daily and water quality parameters were measured.

Mr Iyiola, Adams Ovie is a Ph.D student of University of Ibadan and obtained his MSc. and BSc. degrees from University of Ibadan and Olabisi Onabanjo University respectively. He is professional member of Fisheries society of Nigeria (FISON), American Fisheries Society and Nigerian Organic Agricultural Network (NOAN).
