Tourism implies the commercial organization and operation of holidays and visits to places of interest whiles ecotourism refers to tourism directed towards undisturbed natural environments and intended to support conservation efforts. In view of this, this topic is particularly interested in establishing the kind of relationship that do, and should exist between the particular tourist attraction, its surrounding environment as well as the architecture of the built forms on the site, for the facilitation of tourist activities. Over the years, there has been an influx of so many different foreign building materials, into the Ghanaian markets. These foreign materials invade the building industry and are being used irrespective of how well they satisfy the basic requirements of good architectural design. The case studies considered are eco-tourist sites which have managed to preserve a great deal of the natural site as well as incorporating its surrounding environment (both built and inbuilt) into an experience for tourists.
