Google, Apple Computer, für den Satellitensender Current TV und für Generation Investment Management, ein Unternehmen für nachhaltiges, umweltverträgliches Investment. 1992, kurz vor seiner Wahl zum Vizepräsidenten, landete Gore mit "Wege zum Gleichgewicht" einen internationalen Öko-Bestseller. Er ist verheiratet und Vater von vier Kindern. Insider sagen ihm Ambitionen auf die Präsidentschaftskandidatur 2008 nach. 2007 erhielt Al Gore den Friedensnobelpreis.
