Servomechanisms (servo actuators, or servos) find application in many fields of human activity: industrial and agricultural machines and equipment, military, and aerospace technologies. Thousands of engineers and specialists design, manufacture, research, and use servos of various structures, parameters, and functions. Servomechanisms are terminal, functional elements in automatic control systems with very high coefficients of signal power amplification. Servomechanisms, again, are theprincipal source of different non-linear relations in motion equations, complicating drastically the theoretical analysis of the flying vehicle stability and the synthesis of control algorithms. A reliable a priori evaluation of the servomechanism primary static and dynamic parameters is essential for designing effective flight control and stabilization systems for such complex dynamic objects as rockets. In the author's opinion, the results of studies discussed in this book can be helpful for the space rocket and aircraft engineers and specialists in many machine-building industries where servos are used.
