In this book, the results and stages of the two scientific types of research have been presented. In the first research, the impact of dust on water resources has been investigated. In the second study, lead and mercury levels have been investigated in the remaining deposits of dry lakes. Drought lakes are important sources of dust.

Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Taghizadeh received his Ph.D. degree in the field of Environmental engineering from Tehran science and technology university (IAU) in 2007.He has been working as an academic staff member at the department of environmental engineering in IAU, Estahban branch (Iran) from 2001.Dr. Taghizadeh is head of the environmental department.
