GARY A. GARFIELD is the former CEO, President, and Chairman of Bridgestone Americas, Inc., the successor to the iconic Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. It is a 55,000 person company with operations on five continents, and the largest subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation. As the CEO, Garfield led the transformation of Bridgestone Americas, driving it to grow profits more than five-fold during his six year tenure.
