This is a collection of short stories based on the #mirrorofeternity. I enjoy writing Science Fiction because of the free range it gives to the imagination. One of the first Sci Fi novels I read was "Rip Foster rides the Grey Planet" I read it under the blankets with the aid of a torch. I was supposed to be asleep. Even as a youngster I could tell some of the things in the book were just plain daft but it was not just the book itself which inspired me. It was also the humour and the vast possibilities which Sci Fi offered for story telling. The #mirrorofeternity series has given me the freedom to look at serious historical events (past, present and future) and explore the light and dark sides of them. What is the Mirror of Eternity? I first came across the idea in a philosophy text book which referred to the mirror of eternity as a reference point for our earthly pre-occupations. It may seem very important to us whether the government moves to the right or the left, whether we are wearing the right socks or whether West Ham do well this season. In the mirror of eternity these things may be less important than we think. Science tells us that we cannot travel in time the way H G Wells envisaged. It would create too many paradoxes. Has this stopped Sci-fi writers experimenting with the idea of time travel? Of course not. In the mind we can go to any place or any time. The Mirror of Eternity program, written by Dr Xavier Hollands and Dr Tilly Hollands is not scientific. It is the place where dreams and reality meet. The other strand to the #mirrorofeternity is the ancient concept of astral projection. This has a long and honourable tradition in Eastern and Western thought. It also has untold possibilities for fun.
