Divine Grace in general directly involves God's intervention in human lives. It gives life a meaning and purpose. Without divine grace, evolution theory, which suggests a purposeless and unguided life, would have been believable. God guides man through divine grace which comes in the two forms: universal and special. Believers and unbelievers do sometimes make the statement "by the grace of God" to invoke the divine favor, a manifestation of divine universal grace. Divine universal grace is driven from Kuyper's doctrine of common grace. Divine special grace is the gift of Salvation. Salvation is the most powerful form of grace. The major difference between divine universal grace and divine special grace is the duration. Divine universal grace can be short lived whereas divine special grace is a long term grace that can last for ever. One can receive divine universal grace several times in different expressions whereas divine special grace has only one manifestation. This Tome is devoted to all the manifestations of divine grace. Some long standing issues on doctrines of Election and of Justification are also clarified.
