Dieter Roth's unique and eclectic Tischmatten ("Table Mats") incorporate drawings, paintings, photographs, and ephemeral materials. Roth placed these gray cardboard mats on tables in his apartment, studios, and houses, collecting what he referred to as the "traces of my domestic activities."
