O autorze

Der Autor: Hans-Georg von Mutius, geboren 1951, studierte evangelische Theologie, Judaistik und Orientalistik an den Universitäten Bochum und Köln von 1970 bis 1977. Er promovierte im Jahre 1976 zum Dr. theol., im darauffolgenden Jahr zum Dr. phil. und habilitierte sich 1981 im Fach Judaistik an der Universität zu Köln. Seit 1986 ist er als Professor an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München im Institut für Semitistik tätig.
