Haemoparasitic diseases have become consistent constraints to the modern dairy production sector in particular to the effects of recent cross breeding programs. Other domesticated animal as well as pet animals are also getting more infestation due to close contact with dairy herds and depicting persistent problems in many developing countries of the world including India. They are responsible for high morbidity and mortality resulting in decreased production of meat, milk and other livestock by-products and the loss of draught power. So, proper diagnosis and therapeutic management will help to save the life of the animal as well reduce economic losses. Now a days, lots of advance diagnostic technique as well as therapeutic measurements are developed which are not properly transferred to the person rendering the veterinary services t.o the doorstep of the farmers.I hope the update information on diagnosis and therapeutic management will help the clinicians for better way to control the haemoparasitic diseases in livestock as well as pet animals.
