Hydatid cyst disease or hydatidosis or Echinococcosis is a cyclozoonotic infection of cosmopolitan distribution. It is one of the main forms of parasitic disease in farm animals that is caused by the larval stage of Echinococcus tape worms which utilize canines as definitive host and various herbivores or rodent as intermediate host.Immunodiagnosis can play an important complementary role in detection of hydatid cyst disease.It is also useful or follow up of patients after surgical or pharmacological treatment.The autoimmunity is defined as a failure of specific immune system mechanisms in distinguishing between self and non self antigens.Several causes may lead to trigger of autoimmune diseases and the infectious agents are one of these important causes,so the relationship between infections and autoimmune disease has been studied extensively over many years and described the association between the microbiological infection(bacterial,viral and parasite) and the development of autoimmunity.The identification of microbial peptid that similar to self tissue by molecular mimicry is a true of actor that inducing or human autoimmune diseases triggering by certain infections
