Another peculiarityisthatpractically 100% of all energy produced in Belarus is provided by thermalpower plants (TPP), which operate on imported fuel. In order toincrease the level of energy security of the country, the development of the modernenergy sector has acquired the trend of wide construction of renewableenergy sources (RES) to generate clean energy.
