The wind turbine is used to harness one type of renewable energy sources available on earth which is wind. It operates on the principle of turning the kinetic energy of the wind to electrical energy. The usage of wind turbine is getting more and more popular in today's world as it has given a lot of benefit to the environment for being green and also is able to produce enough power needed by consumers. The basic working principle of a wind turbine is it generates power when there is wind blowing. Generally the higher the wind velocity, the more power the wind turbine generates. However in this thesis, a constant or controlled output is made the objective regardless of the wind speed variations. The objective is having the controlled output no matter how fast the wind is blowing. This idea is made possible with the assist of a converter which is placed inside the wind turbine so that whatever input that is given to it will be converted to a steady and constant or controlled output. The methodology adapted for this project is by numerous tests and simulations done in LabView. The final results that meet the specified design requirements are then tabulated and shown in this book.
